Easiest way is to download a free audio converter like Audacity or GoldWave, open the source file, and save it as whatever you want. You might have to download some extra files from the GoldWave website to enable the compatibility, but it should already be there when you install it. One thing I like about GoldWave is that you don't need administrator privileges to install it. Now, if you're on a Mac, I haven't the foggiest why you need to convert to WMA, but I think you're out of luck. This doesn't sound easy, probably because it isn't - Apple doesn't want you to convert to WMA.

I would just like to point out, what you are trying to do is impossible. You are trying to convert a quicktime video file, which is VIDEO, into a windows media audio (wma) file, which is AUDIO. So either you are trying to extract the audio from a quicktime video and then convert that into windows media audio (wma). Or more likely, you are trying to convert your file into Windows Media Video (wmv). Please clarify this so I can give you software to meet your needs effectively. Software that hopefully is free.

I'm looking to do the exact opposite as what you are requesting. Although what I am looking for is for video clip files, one that won't take too long to convert and will remain as the same quality.

thanks

You could try Magic Video converter, which can convert videos within different format..... I am using it and it really works....

Have a look here: Stake your claim for the best price!

there are a lot of sharware and freeware on the market today, you may choose the best but most likely you'll have to buy them and of course if you're a bit wise.. try looking for a crack or maybe on RS
