Both of these messages are emailed to me because of the cron jobs I have setup.

The crons are setup to run at midnight I believe. Also for some reason my site goes down everynight for several hours at a time. I am on server (duck).

Now that I got a bit of money I want to start paying for service but if this continues I won't be spending my money here.

What this error message is showing is that whatever software you have setup can't run it's query. If this software is setup using PHP i should be able to assit you prior to the full script at the origin of the error is added in a reply.

We have encountered few bad users who are running bad scripts which can lead to few problems. We are trying out best to stabilize the server. If you keep seeing that error, please submit a ticket and provide details such as site username, path of the script, timing etc.

As for paid hosting, free hosting and paid hosting servers are different. We don't keep paid hosting clients on the same server as free web hosting.
