Default Can't transfer forum from old host to this one.

So here's my dilemma. I was using gigacities.net for the past week to host my alliance's(ikariam.org) web page. However it turned out to be a really poor hosting service as it was constantly having errors. How ever a lot of work went into the forum(phpBB3) and i want to transfer all the stuff to this host. I've successfully(i think) transfered the database over but my topics, posts and users are missing. All the stats are saying there there though.

Here's what it should look like:
Hunters of Dusk Ikariam Alliance Gigacities

And this is what it really looks like:
Hunters of Dusk Ikariam Alliance Profusehost

I really need help on this one as i'm stumped? i know they where having problems with servers, could this be because it wasn't exported properly from gigacities.net?

For this I recommend contacting phpbb support. I know that when you transfer data for forum, index needs to be rebuilt for posts. We had to do that with our vbulletin forum, so i am guessing it's same way with phpbb.

Have you checked your permissions ?

I saw some error like:
Code:
Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions.
Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: e_theodore@sympatico.ca
Hope this helps ! Otherwise contact the support at phpBB, like John already mentioned !

i'm sure the permissions are correct, i've been using phpBB for ages.

Well i just found a tutorial on how to move them on the official site so hopefully that'll help. Thanks for your responses
