Causes of 500 Internal Server Error

hello! I'd like to ask what are some of the causes or prospectives that our site will generate an error 500 Internal Server Error, and how can we avoid this kind of error?

Internet Server Error on our server can be due to permission settings on your file where a file with 777 permission will give that error. Also, it can be due to bad scripting or high server load.

If you are encountering Internal Server Error over and over, please submit a ticket and provide necessary detail such as full url, server path of the script and the timing

thanks for that information John, but what is that server path of the scripting and the timing, I'm just using Wordpress 2.5.

Your script server path - /home/username/public_html/wordpress etc.

how does it relate to you when changing my time zone? im placed my blog public_html/ on the main folder not on the subfolder

well we are located in California and if you say 3 PM according to your location and it's actually 6 PM here, we might be looking at wrong logs.

we are simply asking you to tell us the time the error took place. So if you visit your website and see an error, please note the time on your computer and simply provide that information in the ticket. We are not asking you to change anything on your computer.
