| Since I set up my site (about 3 weeks ago) I implemented the ads, and it worked correctly. Now this has nothing to do with the MyBB. On my Joomla installation, ads were good. The day before the ads stopped appearing. I thought this was just temporary ad problems, but after a day, I doubt it's that. I also checked out other Profuse sites (like J blog) and found the ads (or sponsor) sections empty. I had not changed anything, it just happened. I'm confused. ![]() |

| Sorry for triple posting but my forum ads aren't working either, and all settings are intact. Some other sites have their ads. See here. As you can see I made about7 posts to demonstrate that the ads aren't working. And you can clearly see the footer ads. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a problem? Thanks a lot. ![]() |

| I just visited the site and ads are working fine. We were having few problems with the ads server over the past few days but everything is working fine now. Please check your forum again and let me know if you are still unable to see the ads.

| Thanks a lot. Everything is working fine now. I'll let you know if I have any more problems. Oh, and I set up a small blog yesterday, here. Can you tell me if you're OK with the position of the footer ads? |
| |||
| yes the position of both the ad code and footer code is perfect. I actually like the way you implemented it nicely in your layout. great work.

| I changed the file permission for configuration.php to 644. Please never use 777 for configuration files or any files that contain your password. 1. Make sure you have a proper anti virus program on your computer 2. Make sure you don't leave any config files on server with 777 permission. It is important to secure all files because hackers look for files with 777 permission. 3. If you want, you can start fresh by requesting a cancellation and applying again. If you know the ip address of the hacker, please PM me the info.

| If I try to change Joomla configuration I get the error: Quote:
And what may my computer have with it. After searching the hacker's name (who was stupid enough to leave it) (Slytherin from Turkey) I realized he has hacked lots of Joomla sites, including Joomla.org itself. Oh and everything's back to normal. I changed some database stuff and it worked, thanks to having two accounts, I had a non-hacked one where I copied the password crypt thing into the admin one and changed the username and that was it. And Awstats has visits from lots of countries, but not Turkey (maybe he/she/it was using a proxy?) Thanks. |

| For Joomla, please use 777 when you need to make changes. After you have made proper changes, please change the permission back to 644.
