The ghost rider movie was in my oppinion a great movie. I got lucky and had premier tickets so I got to see it before the general public. I've read some reviews on it and not many that I read said that it was good, they're wrong. It was a great comedy/action/drama with a perfect balance of all three. The movie starts off with Johnny, played by nicholas cage, as a teenager working as a carny. He does stunts on a motorbike through rings of fire with his dad which creates a problem between him and his girlfriend's father so they decide breaks down. The next day he they are going to run off. When he gets home he looks in the garbage and finds a piece of paper saying that his father's cancer has spread and johnnyis working on his bike when the devil comes around and makes him a deal that he will cure his father's cancer for johnny's soul. Johnny agrees and wakes up the next morning with his father telling him that he feels healthy as a horse. The next scene they show is Johnny's father falling off of his bike in a stunt and dieing, with johnny looking out the tent at the devil who is standing there laughing. From there on Johnny is an adult doing insain moto jumps over unreal lengths. He know he can't die and shows no fear at any of the jumps, though the first one he does is nasty enough to have killed him. He meets up with the girl from the past and takes meeting her as a sign that they were ment, but she is reluctant to say yes to him. Then Johnny is called to become the ghost rider by the devil, to stop the devil's son before he can get the contract of 1,000 souls.
I hope nothing is spoiled, its about a 2hr long movie which will keep you on the edge of your seat ever second of it. If you think I've spoiled anything, you have to see it, this is just the skeleton of the story. I loved it and give it a 10 out of 10
