Amnesty Bill

What does everyone think about this amnesty bill thats going through Congress right now? For those who don't know (and I'm not fully informed so any more information will be gladly welcome) this bill is basically going to make all the current illegal immigrants into legal citizens of the United States.
The supporters are basically saying that this will lessen the economic burden the illegal immigrants are having on this country. While those against it (whose opinion I'm agreeing with) are saying it's not right to allow people to break our current laws and become citizens despite entering our country illegally. So, opinions?

C'mon, lets get some serious discussion going on, 1 post a day makes for quite the slow conversation.

After reading that article it makes me really question the leadership of our country (I know that all parties do this from time to time). It just seems kind of low that such an important issue be snuck in through some sort of loophole or back door or some such non-sense like that.

I hope even more now that the bill will not be passed if the only way the supporters can get it to be passed is by sneaking it in with other bills.

i thought it was a temporary legalization... but then i heard more about it...
it is basically a full legalization that has to be reinstated every few years alot like your drivers license...
bunch of crap since they are taking all the good jobs and leaving the true americans without any work...
