In general a notebook and a Laptop is the same. But there are also tablet PCs maybe you mix up between those. A notebook and laptop are standard mobile computers, screens from 13 to 17 inch but a full featured computer nearly as fast as an desktop Pc. Then there are tablet PCs this they have a touch screen instead of a normal screen. So you can write on the surface with a special pen.

And there is even one more, the sub notebooks, these are much smaller and thiner than the standard mobile computers, feature less Ram, less Power but run a complete operation system.

Hope this helps !

If you look for a new mobile computer the dell, hp or Apple homepage might be the right place to start your research. And you maybe also want to check ebay.

Snoop said that all and there is nothing to say more about it.
I never thought of the difference between a Notebook and a Laptop.
But thanks for the new information.
