 Can breaking a cell phone contract affect my credit? I have lost my phone, but I don't have insurance and I am not going to pay a lot of money just to get a new phone. My contract ends in January. I already have an old cell phone and all I need is a sims card to put in it. That will work but they won't let me downgrade which doesn't make sense because the phone that I have isn't upgraded to have the 5 faves. So I would be paying for and upgrade with a downgrade phone. This pisses me off because I have been a faithful customer for 5 years. I will cancel, but pay the $200 when I can. Just won't be anytime soon. So I know it will affect my credit, but how bad will it be?  |
