Sims 2 Help (pc version)?

I can't seem to be able to open sims 2 body shop..each time I try to upload it, it says that something is wrong and some sort of error code and then the system will now terminate! what is wrong with it?! please help me somebody!

and another question: Does anyone know any good websites where I can downloads sims, clothing, hair etc.etc APART from modthesims2.com..

I don't know what's wrong with bodyshop.
I only have one suggestion, but have no idea whether that's your problem or not.
Anyway, which version of body shop are you trying to access? For example I have expansions up to Bon Voyage, and the Bon Voyage expansion came with it's own bodyshop icon. However, if I try to go into body shop from the Bon Voyage folder, it doesn't work. You have to get into body shop using the original Sims 2 folder.
If that doesn't work, sorry I don't know what the problem is.

Some of them you may need to pay, and also I don't know how reliable they are in terms of viruses or broken downloads, so use them at your own risk. I know the first link to the sims resource is good though. And of course there's thesims2.com, which is pretty much guarunteed safe, but it's not the greatest place to download from.
Also there are plenty other sites that I'm not aware of, so if you want to find more, Google is alwasy a good tool.
