Could you help me figure out what the name of this pc game is?

Okay, back when I was younger, many years ago in the 90s, I would go over to my neighbor's house and we'd play this one game on his computer.

Basically you would put pieces on the screen like light bulbs, gears, boards, balls and other things so that you'd be able to do whatever the point of the game was.

So basically you put the ball so that it rolls down the board then hit a switch and then it will light up a light bulb and then you win or something.

I don't know if this description is good enough or not, it might have been on a mac computer, I'm not sure. Any ideas would be good. Thanks
