Steam and Counter-Strike

If anyone plays CS:S, let me know. I can introduce you to a community that cares about the game and the players enough to host over 90 servers and not get a profit from the admins. All leaders are volunteers (except for a few that get paid - myself NOT included), and all love the game.

Steam is the worst program, its laggy and doest update properly half the time, but it has good games. Like css

I completely disagree. Steam is like the best thing to happen to PC games up until that games explorer Vista has. It may be a little laggy, but come on - it keeps track of all of your games, easily gives you the option to delete the local content to free up disk space (without deleting custom saves and files) and you can easily redownload any game you want. Plus all the demos you can automatically download, and the media they have (high-definition WMV videos of HL2, etc.). And, it automatically downloads any and all updates for the games you want. I think it's great.

And yes, I do play CS:S. Quite a lot, once I get into it. I always get into a game, and then try not to quit until I go positive (kill/death ratio > 1). But yeah.

My computer is tooooo slow to support counter-strike. I played it once and it seemed pretty fun. Steam is very very laggy.

i never used steam, thought. so, if it seem very laggy, i think i will use it more over. but for my country, i dunno if i can use it (because of range and connection don't support greater speed for gamers)
