Well, anyone who uses Google ads may have noticed something which is becoming sort of an epidemic. The ammount that Google pays per click is droping down to 2, 3, & 4 cents per click. My average used to be around 45 cents per click and I was relatively happy, but when I started getting penny clicks, and was only making 11 cents on 3 clicks, I started complaining. I posted a message in the Google groups saying that they have to start paying more, or set a minimum bid of 15cents, or I was going to start selling ad space. After this, I got 15ish replys saying things like, yea your right, we should all sell ad space, or I cant put up with this cheapness. After I posted a message saying I'm glad so many people agreed, maybe they will do something, Google saw that it was brought back to the top and buried it. Makes sence, dont let the flaws Google has show up in Google, and dont bother fixing it either. Now after I saw this, and knew I would be censored, I went to other sites to start asking other people what their oppinion was. A lot of webmasters said that they were fed up to and someone proposed something I agree with. The people in Google adwords has slightly died out (in paying users). They can pay less per click, and get 2x as many clicks or more than the person who spends a lot of money per click, and runs out of money in the middle of the month. More and more people are finding out that the less they pay, the more they get clicked, and the cheaper it is for them. Dont forget that Google is now advertizing its services like G-mail, Froogle, Adsense, adwords, ect. and You know that they arnt going to pay much, it's their ad service. Many users suggest that you filter out ads that you dont want, or assume dont pay much, but you cant be sure without clicking your own ads (illegal). Then there is filtering out so many adwords that you completly loose normal ads and start getting ads without urls, and public service ads. What Google should do is set a minimum ad cost of .15 per click, and only take 1/3, not 14 of the 15 cents. Next, Google should do analizing, which would make people who sell a product pay MORE than those who just want clicks to their website. Then Google should give a higher percent to the bigger sites, so they arnt making the same ammount as the little sites, even though they are getting 100,000 more impressions than that little guy. Offering ppmi (pay per thousand impressions) to all users, not just some, would be 10x better for people who know that they dont have clicking users (esspecially game sites) but dont mind having there users be effected by constantly seeing certain ads. No more stupid ads, they must be professional. No more virus ads, like those "DOWNLOAD 1000 SIMLEYS" ads which are loaded with spyware. Google should also reach out to more people for advertizing by simply stating that Google ads are one of the most impressional systems for brand recognition, and selling Google ads to big companies who need brand recognition, and can pay a lot per click.
