| If you have a Google account, just log onto iGoogle, click on Web History, then Preferences, then clear recent searches. Your search activity will be wiped out for anyone to access. However, a copy of your search may remain on the Google servers, but that's the price you have to pay, the risk runs with any search engine. I would also recommend clearing all forms and passwords in your browser, clear the history, cache, and any cookies. If you have FireFox you can do all this automatically by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del. |

| What it turns out to be to me is, all you wanna do is to remove the search terms you've made on Google.com. For Internet Explorer 7 1. Click the Tools menu. 2. Select Delete Browsing History . 3. Click the Delete forms button. 4. Click the Yes button in the confirmation window. 5. Click the Close button. Follow below given instructions on preventing your Google.com search history from being stored in the future. 1. Click the Tools menu. 2. Select Internet Options. 3. Click the Content tab. 4. Click the Settings button in the 'AutoComplete' section. 5. Deselect the 'Forms' checkbox. 6. Click the OK buttons to save your settings. Internet Explorer 6: 1. Click the Tools menu. 2. Select Internet Options. 3. Click the Content tab. 4. Click the AutoComplete button. 5. Click the Clear Forms button. You can also deselect the 'Forms' checkbox to keep this information from being stored in the future. 6. Click the OK button. Firefox 2 or 3: 1. Click the Tools menu. 2. Select Clear Private Data. 3. Select Saved Form and Search History. 4. Click the Clear Private Data Now button. Last edited by gaganshridharani : 11-29-2008 at 02:17 AM. Reason: I Hope This Justifies. |
