How to Automatically submit Sitemaps?

Hi Guys,
Can anyone suggest how to submit sitemaps automatically to Google, yahoo, MSN or any other popular search engine by it self. with out much interaction.
Can you suggest scripts for doing like this or any examples of this on the internet, articles on this,please post it. i really need it because i have to open yahoo explorer & Google webmaster sitemaps & MSN to ping the server to update my sitemaps which is a damn job doing everyday. Please suggest soon.

i have found the sitemap generator in Wordpress that can do the job like this
but i have not found any other stuff that can do this.

Also XML sitemaps can generate but submission is only to Google i suppose.

Please confirm the information on Google

that will go through step by step how to submit your site map as the normal way (sending a ping with your sitemap url does not work!)

PS can you not tell the crawler through your sitemap how often you update? eg yearly monthly weekly daily? i also thought that using your robot.txt would allow several search engines to update automatically?

Keep up the good work - do you know any service like Google webmasters that would submit our sitemap to ask,msn, Google,yahoo on telling them & that have a webmaster like appearance

Thanks to the link. I tried a lot to create a sitemap for my site using the Google Sitemap generator, but without success. The page you gave tells how to create and submit sitemaps and I never thought it was so easy....

just i found out.. every now and then search engines are targeting your robots.txt for some reasons.. and so you may add your sitemap URL like:

Sitemap: http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

so in this case search engine will now be able to target your sitemaps without submitting them to their respective bots.
