Adsense referrals from Google no longer working in India?

I heard from one of my friend that Adsense referrals will no longer work in India. I want to know whether its right or wrong. I checked the Adsense blog at Inside AdSense but didn't found any details. My friend said that he found it as a tip displayed when he logged into his account. Do anyone know more about this?

im not familiar with Adsense because I myself dont have it .. so, in my own opinion, they shouldn't do that stuffs, because of being unfair with other countries that. and one more thing, Adsense blog is the official site wherein they post some of the announcements.

I think there is nothing like. If such a think is there they must tell us when we are selecting the country and it is unfair to neglect one country from this.

Yes, I have confirmed that Google is stopping referrals... This is a part of the mail, which I got....
