Default Turn off "click to activate" flash files

Hi yall!

I was looking through some other websites that had flash, and i noticed that some of those websites, i didn't have to click on the annoying "click to activate" thing where it creates a box around the flash image. I wanted to know if anyone out there knows (lol) how to make that possible, because my (soon to be) website has some flash files, but i dont like how it has that "click to activate" thing (so annoying! if i havent mentioned ).do i have to modify an html page??

I'm not sure but they probably make it gain focus somehow so you don't have to click the dumb box first to play the game.

I do think that's a client-side security precaution based solely in Internet Explorer (unless I turned it off in Firefox). As far as I know, there's no way to change a user's security settings through some code on the page he/she is viewing, so as far as I know, if the user's security settings tell the browser to have a "Click to activate" thing, then it's going to be there, whether the web site likes it or not. In your case, I'm guessing the setting's on medium or something, and the sites that didn't have the "Click to activate" were either already cleared by the system or on a global not-block list.

I forgot where I found it but you could turn it off using Javascript. Lots of the big websites do it, for example, http://youtube.com and http://adobe.com .
