Default easy way to Make your blog instantly mobile ready

Google has tool to read web-feeds into mobile friendly. by accessing http://www.google.com/reader/m/view/feed/{your-blog-feed} now your blog mobile friendly instantly.
Try this: Google Reader it's a mobile-friendly version of my blog at [am3nblog]. but the next question is how do I remember that long url. Easy answer!! Use alias on your domain which can setup on your cpanel.
So the next step is I create a sub-domain m.am3n.profusehost.net and redirecting it to Google Reader

Whala... now you can access my blog (Google Reader) on your mobile phone with nice interface

I got much more simple idea. Search the entire url of your website and the first link which will appear will be yours and select it. Google will make it compatible with the mobile device.

yeah, visiting a site directly by entering the URL in the mobile browser could not display some sites. But, when we reach the site by following the link from Google search, it will be ok. Its really interesting.....

I would be interested in statistics about how many users access your side via a mobile, because I plan to design a side based on pdf files. So when reading it you need a pdf reader inside your browser, which most mobiles do not have.

I would be very pleased if you can tell me the percentage of users who use mobile devices on your side.

I am not sure, because I do not focus on mobile users, but I think you see them under browsers only if they directly access your side. If they use Google like you say above I think you should look for the "connect to side from" section. Maybe there you find some link from the Google mobile. Or you check your list of "Hosts(Top10)" if there is one IP from a Google mobile server. But I am really not sure about that stuff.

hai snoop..
Now I can answer your question, everytime we create a sub-domain, cpanel also make the awstat statistic. because I am create m.am3n.profusehost.net there are awstat for m.am3n.profusehost.net.

and from that statistic.. number of visitor came to my site via mobile is ...

0, nil, nada, zero, empty, no one...

oh...

ok ;-)
that is the point why I think mobile compatibility is not worst in developing for people like you and me. For big companies it might be interesting to provide a mobile compatible page. But I think I am going to add more features to my standard page before adding a mobile version, because I do not feel any need for it. Also handhelds like the iphone already have a standard compatible browser.

Yes it works, but ... as I pointed out before ... if nobody uses the service why spend your time and set it up ? For me it is only wasting time, I prefer optimizing the design or do something else but designing a mobile version is not worst it. Especially not for personal blogs ! That is what I think !
