Default PDF Reader inside your Browser

I plan a new project and I want my sides to be all based on pdf files and I do not want to convert them to pictures. Therefore my questions is can you open pdf files inside your browser ? (I know it is possible but is the feature activated on you browser, that is what I am interested in.)

I am just confused by your post here: http://www.profusehost.net/forum/int...tml#post183284 (easy way to Make your blog instantly mobile ready)

Please make it clear that whether you want to know how many of us has pdf support in our mobile or in our web browser in PC. I voted for NO since I thought it was related to mobiles. My browser in PC, firefox has support for viewing pdf files if the PDF viewer is installed in the system.

Oh, sorry you got me wrong I was talking about browsers on you operation system. I am sure most of all mobile devices can not open .pdf files, so the homepage won't support them until I add support. But this question is a general question, if the feature to open pdf files in your standard browser (on your pc) is able to open pdf files and if you have this feature activated.

Sorry for confusion !

I usually like to download pdf files; but since I am using firefox, it sometimes automatically load pdf pages. I prefer the other way because loading pdf file inside the browser makes the browser slow sometimes...

I have the same opinion. Usually when I saw a link that will open PDF file in browser, unless I accidentally click to open it, I would rather right click and save to pc and then open it. It seems a lot of job wasted, but for me I fell safer. The reason is some time the browser will not responding and I have to close it to task manager. This is a disaster to me. And of course, open PDF in browser will make the browser slow. That's my opinion.

Well I'm not exactly sure what you mean, so I'll just state what I can do.

When I click something on the internet which is a link to a pdf file, Firefox will prompt me to open, or save it. If I save it, you can imagine what happens, it's saved then I open it with Foxit (my PDF reader) but if I click open, it will just stream it in to Foxit straight away. But, this is not in Firefox, as foxit is a separate application, so, no, I don't believe I can open PDF's in my browser.
