New LG Shine (KE970)

LG Shine (KE970) is a full metal slider phone that comes with expandable memory, auto focus camera by Schneider Kreuznach and a reflective 2.2" screen. It comes with media player that support mp3, wav and acc++. For network, it can support GPRS and EDGE networks and its compatible with bluetooth and USB connectivity.

I like those types of phones. The face switching workes well, has a nice feel and protects it well, but I still prefer the size of the razor and the fact that its got a switchblade style flap so you can answer the phone with one hand.

yup I personally like small phones also. Not a fan of flip phones. I already have alot of things in my pocket and not in mood to carry chunky phones even though razr is pretty light and thin. Answering calls is a lot easier. No need to take out a phone, flip it and answer it.

I like the one in shine series without flip flap. Don't know the model number. Also, shine series mobiles have Anti-theft mobile tracker. If the handset is stolen and the SIM is changed, it automatically sends message to two predefined saved numbers, the location and the new SIM Card Number, so that it can be identified easily.

I have seen the ad of the phone. It look very nice. Some think live a chunk of metal. Very shiny in the ad. Anyway I am not fully aware of the features that it have. But surely looks great. But i think i have to wait a little bit. I think the price will come down quickly.

i am not at all pleased with any LG or samsung phone
i am very much happy with my NOKIA & also the moto is good & stylish because its color & thin body but battery power no GOOD

Does anyone know a mobile that actually has good, fast hardware. All these fancy mobiles I'm seeing have all these 'cool' features but really are slooow. It as if they just change it's looks and change the firmware or whatever those mobiles use and keep the chips/hardware untouched.

i have bought one & i find it very useful to me
you can install all applications & its PURE JAVA
so no slow using or crashed ever.

try it out, you won;t be disappointed.

The phone looks nice, quite classy looking... it looks abit like the LG Prada phone.
I think LG has got good looking phone nowadays, but not sure if its good or not.

Now LG chocolate is out and i think its cuter than the LG shine. I liked chocolate than shine . I didn't yet checked the features and price but it is good.

i like my new lg shine too bad i dont hardly use it lol i tryed to put a java game on it but the page would never load so that sucked other then that its a nice phone

Uhm... Shine is very old. Chocolate is extreeemly old.
In fact, even the Secret is starting to get old.


Shine is very cheap lately though. You can pick it up for just 100 EUR here (so I'd guess 90 USD). Secret is relatively cheap now too. Just 350 EUR (bear in mind it was 499 at release). Maybe I'll get that one, but they break pretty quick... (thouch sesitive buttons)
