 Important: Get grub (in debian linux) to boot cd? Hi i have an external dvd drive i need to boot from, i cant do it through my bios, so can i do it through grub. it is another live cd, i know were to find the vmlinuz file and a live.img file but what do i type or add to the menu.lst?Details:external dvd drive called: /dev/scd0kernel on cd: /boot/vmlinuz (correct me if I'm wrong)other image file (something to do with initrd or boot i think): live.imgboot loader: grub Distribution: Debian 4.0 "Etch"Also the cd is called: DXC400ENCD1A20 (or close to that) Distribution on DVD is Xandros 4  |
