| Debian Install with Intel 82573V? I'm trying to install the latest Debian version on a supermicro (http://www.supermicro.com/products/s...YS-5015M-T.cfm but it won't recognize the network cards. (Intel® 82573V)It gives me a list of network cards but I try to choose one of the Intels that are close but no luck. (it says I need to add irq parameters,etc..) I've found the debiain driver from Intel (http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...Name=&lang=eng ) but I have no idea how to install this/make a boot image. (I know how to make an image, I just don't know what to do with it...) So, can someone walk me through getting the correct driver so I can pass this portion of the install? Thanks. |

| Getting drivers for the linux versions is a hard job. I am trying to obtain a driver for my dialup modem for about two years and without success till now. I know a command which can be used to reconfigure all the devices like display, Lan, Keyboard, mouse and others in a debian system. withit, you can try with all the driver available with the debian. I tried with some debian OS's and is working. To run the command, you must login as root. The command is: dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 I hope it would help you...
