Default C IDE for Debian

I am in search of C IDE for ma Debian. I used to type the programs in the text editor and execute it in command using gcc. But it would be more easy if I get a IDE something like Turbo C environment. I came across anjutha IDE. But it is not working in ma system. Any better ones???

I am using Debian and Anjuta is working fine for me. Its much more user friendly than the Turbo C in Windows and supports many other proramming languages. I installed it from the etch DVD. It'll be nice for a debian user to have the debian DVD's or CD's with him. It has got a lot of softwares....
