Which gamecube game should i get?

I want to get either harvest moon or animal crossing and i cant decide i just want to get one because i am dying for them to come out on wii

Id go with Animal Crossing. I found that game to be more fun. Plus, it seems like there's more to do in it than Harvest Moon.
