PHP tutorial

Where can I find a written tutorial (not video; they don't help me much) on how to learn php? I'm trying to recode all my pages in PHP because they are all in HTML right now. Can anybody help me?

Just Google for it..... There are many available in the net and different people have different tastes. So, the one I fell good might not feel good for you....

Anyway, have a look at PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor. There are many useful links and if you have downloaded any php version, you might have some files along with it to help you studying PHP.

Anyway, Books are better than the tutorials... Atleast, I feel so. I have one named "Programming in PHP", written by Rasmus Lerdorf and Kevin Tatroe. Its a nice one. So, go and check out a near by Library for some.

Also, for the testing the PHP pages, you could use XAMPP, a virtual sever package with Apache, PHP, MySQL, and many more. Its really great...

i would suggest going down to your local library and taking out some books on coding.

thats how i learned it and got into it.

i find that movies and online tutorials arnt very desribtive or helping (even the paid for ones)

there usually under encyclopedias and are quite thick. some come with software. like the books on dreamweaver, flash, photoshop. they come with the software demo. which if u just happened to have the serial key that you legally purchased you would be able to activate.
