| i made a code that uploads an image to the server. But this images are not viewable until i change the chmod permission. So i googled some stuff on how to change the chmod using php. So i created a different file and used the chmod() function. I was able to change the chmod successfully. The problems is when i implement the chmod() function to the upload script it does not change the chmod permission of the file. The codes are really identical i even output the files which was uploaded and used the chmod(). Although the outputs are both identical the chmod permission doesnt change at all. Any help? |

| I think it might be an permission error. I am not sure if php is allowed to change the permissions on your space or if it is prohibited by cpanel. Personally I would choose a corn job to change the permissions, or you write a php viewer, this should work even with 655 files. Hope this helps.
