Default Can portable game systems (PSP, gameboy) be used on airplanes?

Can portable game systems ( Sony PSP, gameboy) be used on airplanes?? What about portable DVD players?

Yes, except for during take-off and landing. They make announcements to let you know when you can and can't use them.

yes anything can be used on an air plane execpt for cell phones

No, I doubt it. Since September 11th, and the threat of terrorist attacks, I doubt they will let you use a cell phone or any electronic on the plane... no sharp objects either .

i believe that they make you turn all eletronics off before theytake off, but once you are in the air you can turn them on.

during takeoff and landing you cannot have any electronic devices of any kind on. During the flight it is ok, unless the capt. asks for them to be turned off.

yup I just went to Amsterdam and used my Sony PSP the whole way. They say turn everything off, but thats just wi fi things ie phones laptops ect...

Yes, they are allowed. They are not banned, and they are comparable to portable PDAs, cell/mobile phones, and pagers. No cattle prods are allowed (as a carry on). Sorry. lol.The link below is the Transporation Security Administration's Permitted and Prohibited item lists.Wear shoes that you can easily slip on and off during the security check.

yes they can, i use them all of the time. If i didn't it would be one long boring plane ride. So please feel free to bring any of those on your plane ride, you are not however allowed to bring a radio or tv or phone
