Dating Cheat sheet

This is the everything you need to know before you go out on a date with your girlfriend.

Location -

Movies are a great place to go but choose the movie before you go so you don't end up going to something you don't want to see or having to wait an hour before the choice flick plays. Time is important, late movies are great if this is all you plan to do, if you want to go to dinner after a movie (which you probably should) you should go to a 5:00 - 6:00 showing so you can eat around 6:00 or 7:00. If you decide to go to dinner before the movies, eat at 6:30 and choose a 7:15 flick (to give you a 30 minute eating time with 15 minute travel time.

Which movie to see? I suggest you choose with them but don't push on a scary movie, action movies get heart rates going which is not only good for the after show but gives a good memory in favor for you if she ever thinks about leaving you. Love story (chick-flicks) is a huge no! You may think oh, it will be great, there will be a kissing scene where we can make-out but when girls take guys to chick-flicks they expect the guy to be a little emotional (and if you stoop to being emotional then you should be dating men). Scary movies are ok for the third date or beyond, but the first date scary movie is desperate. Comedy is a good pick if you girlfriend is into comedy movies and you get good boyfriend points if the movie is really funny.

How do you choose a movie? Movie reviews are good starts, next step is talking to friends about which movies they heard were really really good. After you've narrowed your list down to 3 talk to your girlfriend, say something like "Hey, I've heard Spiderman 3 was amazing, you wanna check it out with me?" If she shoots down the top three (and she does want to go to the movies) say "Any movies you saw that you liked?"

Going out to eat If you want to go out to eat with someone, choose with them based on atmosphere and menu. Don't choose your favorite buffet style restaurant because that has horrible dating atmosphere and don't choose Jean le' Expensivae because you want to impress her with how much money you have (unless your overly loaded...)

Misc Activites This is my favorite choice for places to go. I love to run around and show my wild side while having amazing fun with her. None of my girlfriends have ever said boo about it and most all of them have left it off with an "oh my god I haven't had that much fun in so long" kind of goodbye. Bowling is good for her if she likes bowling, getting together in some sort of sport style 1 on 1 thing is always fun (don't forget to let her win). If she's into it, video games are sometimes a choice (there arn't too many gaming girls though so don't assume she wants to) but if it is video games, the funnest thing to do is start loosing and mess with her controller (cheating )

Window shopping This is fun to do if you have money and a great place to goof around with her. I've never done much of this, the only experience I've had window shopping ended out horribly because the girl wasn't for me (not at all). This is the best place to find out if your girlfriend is spoiled though, by if everything that she walks buy she wants.
Here is the scale for shopping

$0 - $10 - conservative girl, she may seem to be the kind of girl you want but she shows signs of being uncomfortable with you

$10 - $25 - This is about average you can expect to spend on a girl who goes window shopping. This is 2 or 3 shirts which is still slightly low.

$25 - $50 - Above average, but still normal. This is easily a few nice outfits or one pair of shoes.

$75ish Greedy

$100+ draw the limit you've found yourself a golddigger.

What to Wear-

What you choose to wear is very important. You may not really care about what people wear or even comprehend the whole matching colors thing but girls don't spend 5 hours in front of a mirror before they go out for you to look like a slob. What you wear all depends on where your going. I'll post some links to examples of what I'm talking about. First, from the location post, if your going to a misc place, if your going to a movie, or if your going to end up in 3 star food service or less (diner, blue collar restaurant, where bill won't go over $50 total) then you should wear nice jeans (nice being darker textile with something to them like etched pockets and a rugged look, but not too destroyed). When I say 3 star or less, I don't mean like mcdonalds, unless your in a plaza with one their and can just throw the I just wanted to get a quick thing to eat rule. Don't drive up into a mcdonalds to get food, she might see that as cheap (is she a dollar menu girl?)

Your shirt is always very important. My favorite place to get shirts is probably tshirt hell (T-shirt hell). If your going out to a nice restaurant and still wearing jeans, you should probably wear a polo shirt. Nothing with any fancy designs or something preppy from American eagle, but just a nice polo. If your not going anywhere nice, I suggest you wear a nice non-white teeshirt with something on it (logo, no blank tees). Don't wear something that might offend her, and I don't suggest wearing a sport shirt (especially yankees unless she is a sports fan). Why not yankees, you may love them (i dont follow baseball it is way too long) but if she has constantly heard how the yankees suck then that could be a thumbs down.

diner / movie - Dark Indago jeans with logoed tee

Do nots - Suit tie businessey clothes, "out"/retro clothes, plain/white tee, shoes that dont match the clothes (dress shoes with jeans).

Your personality - The air you carry around you makes a lasting impression on the girl. You have to make her know that you are in control of every situation that might arise and at the same time, treat her gently like a queen. This gives them a feeling of protection and she will be more comfortable around you. The way you talk to other people around you really matters. Like when you get to probably a restaurant, the woman takes a very good notice of nifty little things such as the way you are ordering the meal, The way you are checking the menu, The way you are talking or joking with the waiter. If it is a waitress, be as cold as possible. Any warm smile or the slightest show of affection to another female might reduce your rep points. Furthermore, treat her like a LADY. Always open the car door for her (Thats gives you some massive points) and do other stuffs like that.
