| Mhhh Mr Jhon this mod only works in the SMF Default Theme-Core...dont work using another Theme, so... its not funny use the default theme, i talk it in the SMFAds Forums, and their answer: Quote:
Someone can do this modification or the SMF will dont be allowed in this service, because the users may not use themes |

| The ad management mod was built to alter some specific parts of the theme, simply to create space for the ads you are going to put. Since they cannot definitely create it for all their themes (and you might even be using an external theme they dont know of), they logically created the mod for their default theme. So, all you have to do is manually edit the mod and replace the default theme with your own theme anywhere you encounter it in the mod. The find/replace function available in all editors should do the job. Just make sure you are replacing the right thing and you are replacing it with the name of theme. Post here if you've got extra trouble and dont forget to backup your forum before attempting anything.

| I have some problems with the ads in SMF. I see the button ad management under configuration but when I ad some client (profuse) then the ads do not appear in the forum... I have checked every setting and they are all correct. For your information I copied the following code as source: <!-- ProfuseHost ads --> <script language=\\\\\\\\\\\'JavaScript\\\\\\\\\\\' type=\\\\\\\\\\\'text/javascript\\\\\\\\\\\' src=\\\\\\\\\\\'http://ads2.psychz.net/adx.js\\\\\\\\\\\'></script> <script language=\\\\\\\\\\\'JavaScript\\\\\\\\\\\' type=\\\\\\\\\\\'text/javascript\\\\\\\\\\\'> <!-- if (!document.phpAds_used) document.phpAds_used = \\\\\\\\\\\',\\\\\\\\\\\'; phpAds_random = new String (Math.random()); phpAds_random = phpAds_random.substring(2,11); document.write ("<" + "script language=\\\\\\\\\\\'JavaScript\\\\\\\\\\\' type=\\\\\\\\\\\'text/javascript\\\\\\\\\\\' src=\\\\\\\\\\\'"); document.write ("http://ads2.psychz.net/adjs.php?n=" + phpAds_random); document.write ("&what=zone:24"); document.write ("&exclude=" + document.phpAds_used); if (document.referrer) document.write ("&referer=" + escape(document.referrer)); document.write ("\\\\\\\\\\\'><" + "/script>"); //--> </script><noscript><a href=\\\\\\\\\\\'http://ads2.psychz.net/adclick.php?n=ac3440ba\\\\\\\\\\\' target=\\\\\\\\\\\'_blank\\\\\\\\\\\'><img src=\\\\\\\\\\\'http://ads2.psychz.net/adview.php?what=zone:24&n=ac3440ba\\\\\\\\\\\' border=\\\\\\\\\\\'0\\\\\\\\\\\' alt=\\\\\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\\\\\'></a></noscript> is something wrong with this code? |

| HI, the code you have pasted above is Openads / Max media Maneger. I would tell you through to have an account with their forum & keep the script updated also open ads has many settings where if there is no ads displayed you should make a banner display inorder to check whether the script is working other wise nothing will be displayed in that place. Kindly go through your ad panel once again & check the settings given for default banner shown when no ads dispplayed. if my help does not suite you kindly go to forum.openads.org or check out Google for Ads Management Mod for SMF. check this link out http://www.simplemachines.org/commun...?topic=68632.0 Bye & HAve a grea t day |
