Unfortunately not - the SD memory card is only for recording still photos.

Unless you are making a very short video, using an SD card will not hold very much quality video. A lot of digital cameras (not camcorders) have the ability to take video, but it jerky and grainy. Would seriously consider a decent video editing program on your PC then capture, edit and burn.
