whoa windows 98 or ME.. u use windows 98????

"Windows Media Player 10 is the all-in-one media player that provides the best experience for discovering, playing, and taking your digital entertainment anywhere--on Windows XP-based PCs and the widest choice of portable devices."

i am guessing you are stuck with version 9. :-(

thanks for the info, didn't even know that a new version was coming out.

I like it, i like the little visualization next to the file name and it looks much better. I use WMP for everything, it's the best media program IMO.

I hate the new media files that go with it, you can't do anything with them, you can't convert them to mp3 to listen to when your out or anything

I'm talking about the ones that require you to register, even if you register you can't convert

WMP10 takes up even more memory than version 9 (I don't know how that is possible but it's true). I really don't notice much difference between 9 and 10 except for the more web-linked features.

i agree man, i think Microsoft is too focused on making things look fancy but i prefer things that are simple and don't come with tooo much crap attached to them.
